I have joined Asha Atlanta’s fall running program and hope to complete a half marathon by the end of the program. Through this effort, I’m raising funds for Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra, an NGO in India that is supporting children with deafness, particularly in remote rural areas, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and assistive devices. When I’m not diving into the world of Machine Learning, I enjoy exploring the scenic trails around Atlanta and experimenting with cooking from various cuisines. I’m deeply passionate about Asha’s mission to provide education to underprivileged children, believing that education should be universally accessible. This December, I’ve committed to running a half-marathon (21 km) to raise funds for Asha’s cause, and I’m working on improving my fitness by hitting the gym more often, and participating in Asha’s running program. The running program sessions include a combination of strength training, short runs, and long runs on the weekend. These sessions have really helped me push myself every week, and I’m happy to say that I’m on track to reaching my goal. Your generous donations will help make education accessible to those who need it most. Through this effort, I’m raising funds for Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra, an NGO in India that is supporting children with deafness, particularly in remote rural areas, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and assistive devices. You can find more about their work at https://ashanet.org/project/?pid=1351. Please join me in making a difference.

Generally, I like reading, hiking and cooking in my free time. Asha for education supports several ongoing projects that contribute towards the education of underprivileged children in India, which is a very impressive initiative that I’d like to be a part of. They organise volunteering opportunities, events and running programs that allow you to donate your time and money towards this cause. I plan on running a half marathon by the end of this semester in support of these projects, with the goal of increasing my running pace. Towards that goal, I’ve been steadily increasing my training distance and strength training activities with the help of the Asha running program. It’s been especially fun and motivating training with everyone in the running group. By contributing, you would play a vital role in bringing education to those who need it most. Through this effort, I’m raising funds for Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra, an NGO in India that is supporting children with deafness, particularly in remote rural areas, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and assistive devices. Please join me in creating a meaningful impact!

I was introduced to Asha Atlanta through their running program in 2021, and I loved the idea that alongside staying healthy, I would be able to meet with likeminded people and work together towards the cause of supporting children in India who need aid. I would like to contribute towards their cause in my way, which is through raising awareness and fundraising via running. I will be aiming to run a full marathon in Feb 2025 which is an extremely daunting task, and I believe a donation to my fundraising profile would certainly help keep me motivated to try my best. Through this effort, I want to raise funds for Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra, an NGO in India that is supporting children with deafness, particularly in remote rural areas, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and assistive devices.
