I’m a fifth-year graduate student in the School of ECE, originally from Chennai, India, and currently based in Atlanta. When I’m not diving into the world of Machine Learning, I enjoy exploring the scenic trails around Atlanta and experimenting with cooking from various cuisines. I’m deeply passionate about Asha’s mission to provide education to underprivileged children, believing that education should be universally accessible. This December, I’ve committed to running a half-marathon (21 km) to raise funds for Asha’s cause, and I’m working on improving my fitness by hitting the gym more often, and participating in Asha’s running program. The running program sessions include a combination of strength training, short runs, and long runs on the weekend. These sessions have really helped me push myself every week, and I’m happy to say that I’m on track to reaching my goal. Your generous donations will help make education accessible to those who need it most. Through this effort, I’m raising funds for Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra, an NGO in India that is supporting children with deafness, particularly in remote rural areas, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, and assistive devices. You can find more about their work at https://ashanet.org/project/?pid=1351. Please join me in making a difference.
