I am a research scientist at Georgia Tech and NIH. My passion for giving back to society through the education of underprivileged individuals led me to Asha for Education, which has a strong presence at Georgia Tech. Alongside other volunteers, I have joined a running training program where the fees contribute to Asha for Education’s cause. To add an element of fun and engagement, we’ve divided the volunteers into three teams, competing for points based on our running goals. Motivating my team has, in turn, helped me stay consistent with my fitness goals, aiming to complete a 10K run. I pledge to match the amount raised by me and my team members, up to $300.
Project I resonate with most : Nishtha Night shelter
The aim of this project is to financially support alternative education to children of sex workers. Some of the items supported by your donations include clothing for children, food for mothers and children, creche, administration and monitoring of the shelters etc
